This photo was taken at the end of a hike along Sørvágsvatn - a huge lake on the island of Vágar. It was a long, but easy hike that led us the huge cliffside views and we arrived at sunset, which made the cliffs + ocean spray glow with golden light. While the powerful waves crashed against the rocks, we stood and admired the overwhelming beauty as the sun went down. We then had to walk very quickly back to the hike entrance in order to make it back to our car before nightfall, but it was well worth it!
