This photo was taken at sunset at Lago di Braies which was the first stop during my Dolomite adventure. This lake is overwhelmingly beautiful and provides an easy hike for those not looking for too much of an incline. The stunning turquoise water is surrounded by cascading mountains and while I had seen this place so many times on the internet, nothing could have prepared me for how I would feel seeing it in person for the first time.
