Sometimes, with a craft you do for a living, it is easy to get bogged down in worrying about money and acquiring shoots that help to pay the bills. It's easy to get lost and forget why you love that craft, in the first place. Recently, I have been wanting to challenge myself in a realm that is not as familiar to me (i.e. not fashion or portrait work). I have become friends with a talented food photographer, Ashleigh Amoroso, who has inspired me to try a little food photography. I love being able to shoot with no pressure and just create pretty images from pretty, styled food. Here's to trying new things!
